Pallasites

Pallasites, a type of stony iron meteorite, are among the most beautiful and rarest of all meteorites. Less than 1% of all meteorites are Pallasites. Often referred to as space gems, they were formed at the boundary layer between the iron core and the mantle of protoplanets and ejected into space by a massive collision to the parent body. The most sought after Pallasites have beautiful large olivine crystals that range from green to orange in color. When Pallasites are sliced they reveal their inner beauty and show an amazing matrix of translucent gemstones surrounded by iron with Widmanstatten patterns throughout.
