ESQUEL - SLICE, 898 g
Esquel is considered to be the most beautiful of all pallasites and highly sought after by collectors. It is a very stable and durable meteorite. This slice’s provenance is from famed meteorite collector Bob Haag. This is a huge slice, weighing almost 1 kg. It has exquisite olivine crystals throughout the piece and a wonderful Widmanstatten pattern is visible in the etched surface. One side is etched and the other polished in order to fully exhibit the natural beauty of the piece.
