SIKHOTE-ALIN - IRON IIAB, 6 kg

A nice Sikhote-Alin specimen weighing over 6kgs. This specimen boasts highly coveted regmaglypts, (thumbprints) which formed during its descent through Earth's atmosphere. Intact fusion crust is visible on much of the surface as a nice matte brown color. Sikhote-Alin broke up twice during its fall to Earth with only the higher breakup creating the meteorites with regmaglypts. Measuring 177.8 x 152.4 x 50.8mm (7 x 6 x 2 in).
